Harry W. Tepper D.D.S. Obituary
November 10, 1917 - January 29, 2018 UCLA, UC San Francisco Dental School. Served his country in World War II as a Navy dentist in the Navy Air Corps. Preceded in death by wife Anne, and second wife Estelle. Surviving family includes daughter Arline (Tepper-Trister), sons Scott and Matthew; grandchildren Drew, Dan, Keith, Rob, and Tallulah; great-grandchildren Alex, Justin, and Charlie; step-grandson Ben; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews, and cousins. Affiliations: Lifetime member, American Orthodontic Society; Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists; Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity; Ionic composite Lodge No. 520 F&AM, and Al Malaikah Shrine Temple, Los Angeles. "Orthodontist to the Stars," in private practice from 1947-1992. He gave freely of his time and taught generations of orthodontists, introduced the Crozat and Bimler appliances to the US, and up to his passing was still inventing and developing revolutionary additions to the practice of orthodontia. Harry was beloved to his wide circle of friends for his wit, charm, and cheerful nature. Special thanks to his caregiver during his final months, Bonnie Flowers. Services Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 11:30 a.m., Mount Sinai, Hollywood Hills, Main Chapel.
