November 15, 1932 - August 25, 2017 Woodland Hills, CA Henry Alberta Wise, Jr. "Hank" passed peacefully Friday evening, August 25, 2017. Born on November 15, 1932, in Washington D. C, he was the first of four children born to Mary May Bohannon Wise and Henry Alberta Wise, Sr. After graduating from Woodrow Wilson High in 1952, Hank served in the Navy during the Korean War. Upon returning from service, he married his high school sweetheart, Joan Shields, and earned his undergraduate degree from Catholic University before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the aerospace industry. Hank continued his education, earning his master's degree in engineering from USC. He worked for Litton Industries as an engineer for over 40 years. Hank was a true sportsman, had a natural talent and played on his high schools' baseball and football teams. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan and LA Dodger fan. He coached West Hills baseball, earning a championship at every division. He is survived by his five children Jenny, Cathy, Mike, Jodi, and Rich as well as his seven grandchildren Alyssa, Brett, Alexis, Emily, Taylor, Kendall, and Tessa. Donations to the Parkinson Foundation are welcome.
