Obituary Condolences

September 20, 1925 - June 17, 2015 Fondly known as "H," passed away at the age of 89 yrs. leaving behind his beloved wife Joan. H was born, raised and educated in England. He was a dedicated English football fan, and followed his hometown team of "Leicester City" until leaving the County. H also enjoyed a good game of soccer himself, playing as goal-keeper on the Club Teams. Tennis was another game he thoroughly enjoyed plus photography. In 1957, Joan & H decided to embark upon a new life in the U.S.A. where Joan's sister was living. They arrived in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, but after only a short time, the decision was made to move to Los Angeles, where the job opportunities were more abundant for architects. Upon arrival in L.A. they soon became socially active in the British Clubs. One of which H was actively involved with booking charter flights from the U.S.A. to the U.K. Connected with a popular airline company. H soon started to volunteer many hours, while working his full job. And they both made many friends and enjoyed immendly the activities. H had a passion for travel and made many trips to England and Spain. He loved photographing the magnificent architecture of the cathedrals and had a list of cathedrals still to be photographed, which sadly, will not materialize. A true Brit.
