Herb Lewis, 100-year-old phenomena, passed away peacefully June 9th. His favorite saying, "Live your life with no regrets", he followed that path. He was born June 1, 1915 in Philadelphia. He was the last remaining child from a family of nine. During WWII, he was selected the best soldier of a 1000 men by his commanding officers. He taught soldiers hand-to-hand combat-small arms through heavy artillery-including tanks. He became VP of Sales for the Bulova Watch Co. and was known throughout the jewelry industry as a leader. He was a member of the Shriners, where he devoted his time to the Children's Shrine Hospital. His passion was baseball. He attended 23 Dodger Baseball Fantasy Camps and was selected to be in the Dodgertown Hall of Fame. He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Anne, his son, Mark, his grandson, Brian and his great-grandchildren.
