Inge Perzow Obituary
May 8, 1930 - August 19, 2015 Inge Perzow, 85, resident of Porter Ranch, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2015 following complications from a stroke she suffered in December 2013. Inge was born May 8, 1930 in Vienna, Austria to Israel Abraham Kern and Emily (Sachs) Kern. Inge and her mother immigrated to the United States in 1939. After graduating Fairfax High School in Los Angeles, Inge worked as an administrative assistant and a volunteer throughout her life. Inge married the love of her life, Maurice Perzow and together they achieved their dream of raising a family in the peace and security of their new home country. Inge was fiercely independent, fair, competent, a loyal friend, loving wife and a devoted mother and grandmother. She gave generously of herself without ever expecting anything in return. Inge is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Maurice. Left to honor and cherish her memory are her children Susan, John (Leslie) and Carrie (Von), grandchildren, Melodie (John), Matthew and Sarah, great grandchildren Frank and Maurice, and the many others whose lives she has touched. Friends and family are invited to attend her Funeral Service, Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 9:00 AM at Mount Sinai Memorial Park, in the small chapel, 5950 Forest Lawn Drive, LA, CA 90068. There will be a gathering at the Sportsman's Lodge following the service at 12833 Ventura Blvd, Studio City, CA 91604. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to: American Action Fund for Blind Children.
