August 9, 1925 - December 17, 2015 Jim Silianoff (90), beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Born in Bensenville, IL. Served in WWII as B17 tail gunner, flying 52 missions. Homesteaded in Alaska in late 1940s. Married the love of his life, Betty Anderson, in 1951. Resident of Woodland Hills since 1959. Worked at Hughes Aircraft until he retired. Longtime member of Calabasas Country Club and St. Mel's Catholic Church. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Betty; his children Linda Oleson of Pacific Palisades, Janet (Chuck) Brockett of West Hills, and Jim (Kathy) Silianoff of Park City, Utah; 7 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. We will always remember Jim for his love of his family, fishing, golf, barbecuing, holiday parties, Martinis-straight up with a lemon twist-and his favorite song VOLARE. Rest in Peace until we meet again.
