Jane Webb Crum Obituary
May 17, 1925 - January 12, 2016 Jane Webb Crum, 90, passed away peacefully in her home on January 12, surrounded by loved ones. Jane was the daughter of Alice Baudette and Paul Stewart Webb, a civil engineer and building contractor. She was a triplet and shared her mother's womb with two brothers, James and John. As a child, she divided her time between Santa Monica and Boulder City, Nevada, where her father built housing and hotels for the new city that sprung up around the Hoover Dam. She later attended Dominican College of San Rafael where she received her B.A. in art in 1948. Jane was married to Robert B. Crum, M.D. on July 23, 1949. Together they had 8 children. The Crums were outdoor enthusiasts, and enjoyed many adventures, both on land and at sea. Jane was a longtime volunteer for the Mission Doctors Association of Los Angeles. Jane is survived by her daughters, Christina Rude, Teresa Crum, Carolyn (Kevin) Riley, and Sheila (Thomas) Cullen, as well as three sons, Robert (Jennifer) Crum, (Julie Crum), Jeffrey Crum, and Stephen (Shawn) Crum; grandchildren Adam, Eric and Monica Rude, Naomi and Malcolm Crum, Amy and Jesse Crum, Andrew Woodfill and Eileen Crum, Megan and Jane Riley, Brendan and Sophia Crum, and Robin and Ryan Cullen. Services will be held on January 23, 2016, at St. Martin of Tours Church, at 11:00am, 11967 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90049, followed by a reception at California Yacht Club, 4469 Admiralty Way, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292, from 1:30-3:30pm.
