Jean Ann Festa (Carfagna) was born and raised in East Boston, MA. Jeanie leaves behind her most cherished gift from God - her family. Loving Daughter of Eleanor Carfagna (Abbott) and the late Alfred Carfagna. Jeanie leaves behind her devoted husband David Foley of Los Angeles, CA., who has been by her side for 28 years, two beautiful children whom she loves with all her heart: Richard Festa, of Pasadena CA., and Ronee Festa, of Hollywood, CA., and Richard's fiancée Shelly Rego The sunshine of her life is her granddaughter Gianna Marie Festa and her mother, the late Adriana Schettino who is always remembered with love. Jeanie has two brothers and a sister who she loves dearly and their spouses, Alfred Carfagna (brother) and wife Joanne Caputo-Carfagna, Carol Foley (sister) and her husband John Foley, Richard Carfagna (brother) and wife Mary Carfagna, and her two nieces Emilia and Aria. Jeanie shares her heart deeply with her in laws Marilyn and Frank Rodriguez, Robert and Debbie Foley, Donna Foley and niece Marilyn Foley, and Kevin and Ricky Foley. Special love goes to Tom Gay, a beloved family member, the Carli family, Paul, Denise, and Shawn who share 37 years of friendship, and the ever-loving Schettino family. Cookie - mommy is coming home. In loving memory of Jean Ann Festa who after a brief battle with cancer passed away peacefully on May 1st, 2016 at the age of 61. Per Jeanie's wishes no formal service will be held. She asks that friends and family remember her and celebrate her life by spending time with their families.
