March 13, 1963 - August 16, 2016 Jean Louis Loupé was born on March 13, 1963 to Stanley Loupé, Jr. and Ruth Cosby Loupé in Los Angeles, California and passed away on August 16, 2016. He was raised in Carson, California and later re-located to Las Vegas, Nevada with his parents. In California Jean (pronounced John) was a member of The Harbor Foundation, where he was employed and participated in numerous activities, field trips, and Special Olympics. He especially enjoyed bowling and music. He was an active participant at Opportunity Village in Las Vegas and exhibited an exemplary work ethic and pride in his accomplishments during his employment. Jean Louis Loupé achieved independent living status in 2007 at Pinnacle Community Services in Las Vegas until the onset of his medical decline due to Alzheimer's disease in 2015. His passions included crayon coloring, collecting watches and pictures of whales. He was known for his outstretched arms of affection accompanied by a warm smile and hug. Jean touched all who met him. Jean Louis is survived by his mother, Ruth Loupé (Las Vegas); his brothers Milton (Los Angeles), Stanley III (Las Vegas) and Marc (San Francisco); as well as their spouses Debbie, Barbara and Anette, respectively; nieces and nephews Kimberly, Antoinette, Sean, Seimone, Lauren, Miles and Matthew; childhood caregiver, Dellis Redding; and a host of family and friends. His father, Stanley, Jr., predeceased him in 2000.
