Jeanne Kravitz Obituary
January 10, 1929 - June 4, 2015 A loving mother, grandmother, and recent great-grandmother, she passed away peacefully after a sudden stroke. She was surrounded by her son Curt Kravitz (Lydia) and daughter Cathy Isaacs (Jim) She was 86 years young, born in Chicago to Rose and Charles Primack, and transplanted to California in 1945 for the rest of her wonderful life. She is also survived by her Grand-Children: Nicole Kravitz, Luke Hilmo (Neda), Jared Kravitz, Kelsie Batie (Corey), and Kellie Gross (Chaim), Great-grandchild Akiva Gross, her brother Jerry Primack (80) and sister Sherlee Banks (89). Jeanne enjoyed a diverse career as a mother, PBX operator with 20th Century Fox studios, and ultimately as entrepreneur of the Kay Kookie Ko., featuring her unbelievably tasty Oh! Kay Kookies! trio of Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, and Peanut Butter. A ruthless Pan and Mah Jongg player, healthy, active, hip, and independent to the end, she was 86 going on 69. Always a fashionista, her 5 ft 8" frame dressed to impress. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, love of family and zest for life! She'll be sorely missed by her family and those who had the privilege of knowing her! Services to be held at Mount Sinai Memorial Park on Sun., June 7th at 10AM at 6150 Mount Sinai Drive, Simi Valley, 93063.
