Jill Arons Obituary
December 22, 1960 - June 7, 2017 Jill Arons, wife, mother, daughter, sister and all around good soul, succumbed to breast cancer on June 7th. Days before her death she said she had lived a full life with no regrets. Jill raised an amazing daughter, Samantha Prindle, who made her beam with pride mostly when Samantha wasn't looking. She found her soulmate, Rich Arons, and they made each other smile for years and years. Jill loved what she loved with no apologies including movies, puzzles, TV, bowling, bingo, the L.A Kings, travel, '70s pop songs, chotchkies, bargains, Disneyland, fudge Pop-Tarts, Kraft mac & cheese, and life in general. Jill spent her life involved in art and graphic design. She owned her own graphics business for many years then became a graphics design editor of "The Bingo Bugle," a good news bingo paper, which combined three of her greatest loves: design, bingo, and a paycheck. Brave and strong to the end, she set an example to us all in how to be real in the face of brutal reality. In addition to her talented and devoted husband Rich and her loving daughter Samantha, Jill leaves behind her incredibly close parents, Sue & Arnold Kogen; son-in-law, Mark Prindle; brother, Jay Kogen; sister-in-law, Brown Kogen; nephew, Charlie Kogen; in-laws Stan & Loretta Arons, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Janet & Bob Schultze; and hundreds of friends and relatives, all of whom are brokenhearted but basking in the memory of a life well lived.
