Dr.  Joseph Mark Page Obituary
Dr. Joseph Mark Page, 79 died on Friday Jan. 29th at his home in Culver City, California. Dr. Page was born on January 16th, 1938 in Philadelphia, Pa. He was a father, husband, brother, and friend. Dr. Page received his Medical Degree from Hahnemann University and interned at Philadelphia General Hospital. He went on to do his residences at Harbor General Hospital at (UCLA) and LA County USC Medical Center. Dr. Page was board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and he was a Swiss A-O fellow. Dr. Page server on the medical staff at Children's hospital from 1975-1979. He was chairman of the department of Orthopedic Surgery at Brotman Medical Center In 1984 and 1996-1998. He was on the Medical Executive committee at Brotman Medical Center from 1996-1999. Dr. Page was also chairman of the Department of Surgery at Brotman from 1998-2000. In his later years he was on Staff at Silver Lake Medical Center. Dr. Page was a naval Flight Surgeon from 1966-1968 and served in the Marine Corp as a Flight Surgeon in Vietnam from 1967-1968. He received 7 medals and 2 purple hearts. Dr. Page is survived by his daughter, Brandelyn Fowkes and her two children Lauren, 20 and Hannah, 18 of Eugene, Oregon.; his daughter Natasha Williams and her husband Mike and their children Samantha 16 and Sophia 13, his sister Dolores McFadden, of Paoli Penna, his brother Daniel Pagano and his wife Pat of Mill Valley, Ca. and his sister Joanne Turner and her husband David Turner of Kailua Kona Hawaii. Dr. Page is having a private Celebration of Life Ceremony with his family and close friends on January 13th.
