Julie Ann Hoffmann Obituary
Julie Ann Hoffmann, born March 25, 1960, in Royal Oak, MI, died at home in San Jacinto, CA, on Monday, October 10, 2016. Julie moved with her family to the San Fernando Valley as a child and spent most of her life in Southern California. A free spirit with a huge heart, Julie loved music and the ocean, connected deeply with children and animals, and wholeheartedly embraced motherhood. Even in the face of her own struggles, she filled her life with boisterous humor and beautiful acts of generosity: a self-described "coupon queen," she frequently fed multitudes on a dime and devotedly cared for her father in his last years. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Elizabeth Hoffmann II, of whom she could not have been more proud; her much-loved dogs, Daisy, Joe, and Izzy; her siblings, Kathy Lynn (and Browning), Jack (and Katy), Erik, Joy, and Kristen (and Mark); her nieces and nephews, Jessica, Johanna, Jacob, Liam, Kate, and Luke; her GREAT niece, Ruby; and her "adopted brother" Allen Reid. As Julie might have said, life is too muckin' fuch. A celebration of Julie's life will be held at Valley Wide Park, 901 W. Esplanade Ave., San Jacinto, CA, 92582, on Friday, November 4, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please give someone close to you a hug in honor of Julie Bug.
