April 8, 1951 - December 17, 2016 After a battle with cancer, Larry Heineman passed away December 17 in his hometown of Santa Monica. He is survived by his wife Hannah, children Justin and Scott, daughter-in-law Dawn, sister Carol, brother-in-law Ralph, sister-in-law Natalie and nephews Matthew and Bradley. Larry was born to Jewish Holocaust survivors Warner Heineman and Anne Fischer. Larry enjoyed spending time with his family, sculpting, and attending cultural activities and events. In the community, Larry regularly attended synagogue and volunteered. He was very active with Learning Ally (formerly, Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic) and received a service award in 2008 for his years of service. He also made regular charitable contributions to numerous organizations.
