Len S. Mishkin Obituary
September 8, 1933 - December 5, 2015 Raised in Brooklyn, and later Miami Beach and Staten Island, Len came to Los Angeles in 1958 (the same year as his beloved Brooklyn Dodgers) to attend and proudly graduate from UCLA with the help of the G.I. Bill. Embracing the vibrancy of Los Angeles, Len went on to have a long and successful career as a stockbroker at Dean Witter (later Morgan Stanley) in Beverly Hills. Len will be forever in the heart of his adored wife of 47 years, Merridy, and his loving daughter Suzanne (Seth) Blonder of whom he was immensely proud. He will always be remembered as a very playful and "high-fiving" grandpa by Elizabeth and Alicia, a cherished brother of Michael (Rita) Mishkin and Michael (Akiko) Lazare, and a most loyal friend. Memorial contributions may be made to: UCLA Foundation, attn: Nicole Dunn, 10920 Wilshire Blvd., Ste. 1400, Los Angeles, CA 90024. Services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 1pm at Hillside Memorial Park, 6001 W. Centinela, Los Angeles, CA 90045.
Published in the Los Angeles Times from Dec. 8 to Dec. 9, 2015
