Luciano Morra Obituary
January 18, 1931 - April 25, 2016 Luciano Morra passed away on April 25, 2016. He was born in 1931, in Cesana Torinese, in Northern Italy. He was the son of Major Ugo Morra and Emma Morra D'Alterio of Naples, Italy. Luciano attended college studying Political Science, Law and Economics and enrolled in the Navy. After that he moved to Rome and worked there for a while before returning to Naples and entering employment with the American Government as a local employee at the American Consular Office in Naples. While there, he met his future wife, Patricia. They married in Naples and had a daughter there before deciding to join Patricia's family in Los Angeles, California in 1959. Luciano took great pride in his surviving family. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, his three children, Loredana and her husband Jim, Robert, and Mirella and her husband Peter. In addition, he has four precious grandchildren: Emma, James, Matthew, and Joseph. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016, at 11:00am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 880 Toyopa Dr., Pacific Palisades, CA 90272.
