June 2, 1940 - November 26, 2015 Longtime Los Angeles resident and antiques dealer, Marc Navarro, passed onward after several years of health struggles on November 26 at his residence in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Marc was born in Tijuana to Rosa Navarro of Latimer, Iowa and F. Juventino Antonio M�rtinez of Ixtepec, Oaxaca. Marc Navarro Antiques was a fixture on Silverlake Boulevard, where Marc and Gunther sold Sprattling Jewelry and Spanish Colonial Antiques. Marc's Santa Fe galleries, Marc Navarro Antiques and Casa Navarro, were internationally known for his curation of outstanding New Mexican and Mexican artifacts. Marc is preceded in death by his grandparents Gregorio Navarro and Maria Cerda-Murillo, his mother Rosa Navarro-Sanchez, and life-partner Gunther Cohn. He is survived by his 7 siblings; Jesus (Rosa) Navarro of Pomona, Efren (Cathy) Navarro of Albuquerque, Rosa Olga Navarro of San Diego, Armando (Adela) Navarro of Miami, Martha Sanchez of Los Angeles, Jaime Sanchez of West Hollywood, Hector (Cathy) Sanchez of Portland, Oregon; and many nieces and nephews now around the world. His love and appreciation for Mexican Art will be greatly missed.
