Margaret A. Clarke Obituary
March 15, 1930 - November 28, 2015 Margaret graduated from Hollywood High School in 1948 and attended Otis Art Institute. After graduating, she worked with Disney Animation, and Robert Harrell, an interior designer. She then worked for Monteverdi-Young, a furniture designer, for over 40 years. She also enjoyed traveling, garden clubs, art, a good mystery, movies, and cats. She was an accomplished artist in several disciplines and was very active in the art community, most recently the Griffith Park Adult Community Center where she was enjoying art classes and a book club. Margaret is survived by her brother, Arthur G. Clarke, Jr., brother-in-law, Ray Morales, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Glendale Humane Society and the Griffith Park Adult Community Center. Services will be held at the Church of the Incarnation in Glendale on Saturday, December 5 at 1:30 p.m.
