December 12, 1922 - June 25, 2016 Our dearest Mother, Margaret Mary Fitzpatrick (nee Drum), 93, left the bonds of earth to join her dear husband John P. Fitzpatrick, following a devastating stroke. Born in Drummcary, Co. Cavan, Ireland and moved to Los Angeles, CA., with her husband John in 1958. They settled in Eagle Rock and raised a family of 5 children. Twin girls Mary and Bernadette, born in Ireland did not survive long after birth. She was a very devoted wife and mother. Never learning to drive, she walked everywhere including many trips to the grade school of St. Dominic's Catholic Church. She was involved in many activities in the school including PTA, yard duty and supporting school club activities. She was devoted to the Church and began performing tasks in the Church including primary caretaker of the alter, a member for many years of the Blessed Sacrament Society and a Eucharistic Minister which included ministering to the sick and those unable to attend Mass. Also, for many years, a member of the St. Dominic's Church Choir. She was predeceased by her husband in 2002. Survivors include her five children: Geraldine (Jim Morgan); Eugene; Brigid (James Gray); James and Paul (April). Nine grandchildren: Jamie Morgan, Seamus, Ciaran, Sinead and Ruaidhri Gray, Courtney Fitzpatrick, Jacqueline, Liam and Alexandria Fitzpatrick. She is also survived by her beloved brother Seamus (Kathy) Drum of Oregon and beloved sister Matilda Drum of Co. Monaghan, Ireland. She leaves many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. The Rosary will be held at St. Dominic's Catholic Church Tuesday, July 6, 2016 at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass Wednesday, July 7, 2016 at 10:00 AM also at St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Eagle Rock, CA . Interment immediately following at San Fernando Mission Cemetery, Mission Hills, CA. She will be forever in our hearts. Cabot & Sons, Pasadena
