Marilyn Rudley Obituary
Los Angeles has lost some of its sparkle; on February 18, Marilyn Rudley died peacefully at home having lived a life of charm and beauty.   Marilyn was born in Los Angeles and married her first husband, Boston Braves catcher Alvin Montgomery, from whom she was widowed in a car crash (she survived due to a well timed reach for a candy bar). After regaining her ability to walk, and while working for American Airlines, Marilyn met and married businessman Seth S. Low with whom she had two daughters. Her final marriage to actor Herbert Rudley was a love match, lasting nearly fifty years until he passed in 2006.  Marilyn and Herb enjoyed a life filled with collecting, travel and friends - including a successful business venture with one of her closest friends Velva Klein, the Posh  Pourri. Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Setha Marilyn Low and Elizabeth Anne Harwin, as well as two grandchildren, Seth Page and Alexandra Harwin and  one great grandchild, Alexander Page. Marilyn will also be remembered by her circle of glamorous friends, many from her days as a leader of National Arts or the League for Crippled Children as well as by her beloved caregiver, Irasema Rodriguez. To remember Marilyn savor  a piece of See's Candy, join a friend for lunch or enjoy a hearty laugh.  She will be missed.
