Marjorie A. Marculescu Obituary
Anne passed away peacefully on May 28th after seeing so many dear friends while attending her "best friend's" memorial service. She was raised in Burlingame, California, where she attended school with her future husband, Courtney. They lived in San Marino for over 50 years, where they raised their daughter, Karen. Anne and Courtney were a team involved and supportive of Five Acres, Huntington Hospital, and Pasadena Guild of Children's Hospital. She was a member of National Charity League, San Marino Area Chapter during its formative years. Anne's favorite game was bridge, and she played until she turned 92. Keeping in touch with her grandchildren was an integral part of her life. Because she was a great conversationalist, we learned lots of life's lessons. We are left with so many memories and wonderful teachings. For example, "I used to believe in forever¿but, forever was too good to be true." (Winnie the Pooh) Anne is survived by her daughter, Karen Hammond and grandchildren Rob Hammond (Nicole), Courtney Negrevski (Eric) and Jamie Hammond (Sarah). She also leaves six great-grandchildren: Lauren and Colby Hammond, Alex, Nick, and Ryan Negrevski, and Pauli Hammond. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pasadena Guild of Children's Hospital, Post Office Box 51101, Pasadena, Ca. 91115. Cabot & Sons, Pasadena.
