January 14, 1927 - September 14, 2015 A witty, smart, and beautiful woman passed away on Rosh Hashanah from natural causes. Marjorie - "Bobby" to the grandkids - was a proud graduate of The Calhoun School for Girls and Cornell University. She became a preschool teacher, opening the first Headstart Program in Pacoima, CA. Born and raised in Manhattan, she lived for many years in Providence, RI, eventually moving to Tarzana, CA, where she lived for 50 years. She loved crossword puzzles, reading, Sinatra, CNN, and baseball. She is predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Leon. Survivors include her daughters, Leslie (Larry Sargent), Amy Ulmer (Richard Beyer), and Sue (Steve Haerther); 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Private services.
