Marla B. Seff Obituary
December 4, 1943 - November 23, 2017 Marla Seff (Bernstein) was born in Chicago on Dec 4, 1943. She moved with her parents, Jack and Sadelle, and sister, Diane, to Los Angeles in 1945. She went to college at UCLA, where she studied art history, and became a teacher for the deaf. Soon after, she met Richard Seff, to whom she was happily married for nearly 48 years. She enjoyed painting watercolors (many of them brighten the homes of her family), playing Mahjong with friends, and volunteering at LACMA for more than 20 years. Marla was a loving mother to her sons, Randy and Jonathan, and mother-in-law to Tamar and Amy. She was proud to have four grandchildren: Brandon, Sydney, Livy, and Kyle. She was very close with her nephew and niece David and Sheryl and their kids, Jake and Spencer, as well as her sister Diane and her brother-in-law Max and her extended family in Denver. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 26, at 2 p.m. at Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary (6001 W. Centinela Avenue, Los Angeles).
