July 24, 1937 - September 17, 2016 Marsha (Bernstein) Hervey, age 79, died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, in her Los Angeles home on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from complications of Alzheimer's. She was a beloved wife of Alan, sister of Howard Bernstein, mother of Scott (Andrea) and Jason (Shannon), grandmother of Tyler, Brittney, Shaina and Sam, great-grandmother of Noah, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Born July 24, 1937, to Ann and Sam Bernstein, lived Los Angeles her entire life. Marsha loved to dance and in her early years, was a dance instructor for Arthur Murray and assistant for Stan Thompson Golf. After her marriage to Alan, she worked as an assistant for public relations agent, Walter Leftwich. Her primary passion, however, (aside from her family) was Hervey Grimes Talent Agency, which she co-founded and ran for over 30 years. She had a tremendous heart and joie de vivre, was fun-loving and loved by so many. Services will be held on Tuesday, September 20 at 11:00am at Hillside Memorial Park, 6001 Centinela Avenue, Los Angeles. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are welcome at her favorite charitable organization, National Council of Jewish Women, 543 N. Fairfax Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90036.
