Mary Hatcher Stoller Obituary
June 6, 1929 - April 3, 2018 The incomparable Mary Hatcher Stoller, 88, passed away next to the people who loved her most. A silver-screen and Broadway beauty, she starred in Oklahoma!, Holiday in Havana, Variety Girl, and more. With her sparkling presence and radiant soprano operatic voice, she wowed in every production. She is preceded by her husband, Alvin Stoller. She is survived by their two children, Serene and David. She is also deeply mourned by her grandchildren, John and Elicia. Armed with little more than courage, faith, and love, she raised them by herself, playing the role of mother, father, and best friend. No words can express their gratitude to and love for their mommy. She is also survived by several more grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brother Coleman Hatcher and his family; and cousins Dolly, Edward, and Tony. Carried by her deep faith in the Messiah Jesus, she always had a loving word or beautiful testimony for someone in need. She believed that faith worked and in the power of prayer. She would tell everyone that she was born-again and that they should be too. She was a playwright, author, and a singer-songwriter. A wonderful joke teller with an infectious smile, Mary shined brighter than any other star. Services will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 10 a.m., at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, 23287 North Sierra Hwy, Newhall.
