May Boss Obituary
October 7, 1924 - September 16, 2015 May Boss passed on in her sleep in the early morning hours of September 16, 2015 in Mission Viejo, California. She was born in New York to Frank and Lillian Raymond. She lived a very interesting and fulfilled life. She was a trickrider and trick rode in many of the big rodeos across the United States. She began doing stunts in the 1950's. Westerns were the mainstay back then, which made the transition from rodeoing to show biz easy. Her career as a stuntwoman/actress spanned 50+ years. She worked on numerous T.V. shows and feature films. May worked on Money Train; True Lies; Lethal Weapon; Mary Poppins; Silverado; 1941; The Blues Brothers; It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World; just to name a few. She had the privilege to double Bette Davis, Doris Day, Suzanne Pleshette, Rita Hayworth as well as many others. She was well liked and respected by the stunt community, some calling her "a living legend." She is survived by her son, Clay Boss, and her granddaughter, Natalie May Boss. She will be missed…..
