Maynard Matthew Kambak Obituary
July 8, 1929 - July 1, 2017 Maynard passed away into the arms of our Lord on July 1. He was born in Gettysburg, South Dakota. He met and married wife, Patty, in Aberdeen, South Dakota. They moved to California in 1963 where Maynard was a banker, financial consultant, and developer. He was administrator of Fullerton Internal Medical Group and developed large scale medical complexes. He developed Morningside of Fullerton, Park Vista Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing. In his later years, Maynard enjoyed the fruits of his labor as a resident of Morningside. He was a humble man with a passion for helping those in need and supported countless individuals, families, and organizations. Several years after Patty's passing, he married Sally Aiken. Maynard passed away from complications due to Alzheimer's Disease. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Patty, infant son, Craig, and son-in-law, Greg. He is survived by his 6 children: Keith (Marsha), Scott (Michele), Kym (Lou), Cindy, Lisa (Chris), and Jeff (Nathalie), 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, special family friend, Vicki, and his wife, Sally. Vigil August 3, 7:00 p.m. at St. Juliana Catholic Church in Fullerton, California. Celebration of Life Mass August 4, 11:00 a.m. at St. Juliana. Reception immediately following at Summit House Restaurant in Fullerton. Private interment at Loma Vista Memorial Park. Family suggests donating to St. Jude Memorial Foundation in memory of Maynard Kambak allocating to the "Cancer Institute Tomosynthesis". This is the 3D Mammography Initiative.
