December 14, 1960 - December 14, 2015 We are sorry to announce the sudden and unexpected death of Michele Janis Rauch on December 14, 2015, which was also her 55th birthday. Michele was born in Los Angeles, California, the first child of the late Peter and Tyra Rauch (of blessed memory.). Michele was a happy, active and very smart child. She was a great student and was always active in sports and the arts. She was a wonderful big sister to her younger sister, Rhonda Lee. Michele was a wonderful artist and was a valued member of the William Howard Taft High School swim team. Michele went on to earn a Bachelors Degree in Psychology at the University of Manitoba, Canada, and a Bachelors of Nursing from California University State Bakersfield. She was an amazing nurse, working in cardiac care and floor nursing. She went on to the nursing administrative field heading the Home Health Care programs at UCLA and Brotman Hospitals. Michele's happiest and most important role was that of Mother to her much beloved daughter Amanda Rose. Michele was a hands on Mom always making sure Amanda had homemade baby food and followed her Jewish Education. Michele was incredibly proud of Amanda and her achievements, especially her education at University of California at San Diego and interest in teaching. Michele leaves behind her wonderful daughter Amanda Rose Feldman of Los Angeles, CA., and her beloved sister Rhonda Rauch Miller of Tarzana, CA and her husband Mike Miller. She also leaves her beloved nephew Alexander Miller of Tarzana, CA and her beloved niece, Arianna Miller of Tarzana, CA. Michele was a generous soul to all and went out of her way to help any one she could. She will be greatly missed.
