Milton A. Russikoff Obituary
Milton A. Russikoff October 8, 1927 - July 12, 2017 Milton Russikoff, 89, second born child of the late Morris Russikoff and Theresa (Rabins) Russikoff, died from complications from stage 4 lung cancer. He was predeceased by his brothers Larry Russikoff and Harris Russikoff, and his grandson Aaron Friedman. Milt was born in Philadelphia, PA, and, at the age of 5, the family moved west to Los Angeles, CA. He was a graduate of Hamilton High School. He served in the United States Navy during WWII aboard the USS Wyndham Bay as a gunner's mate. He and Mom enjoyed the many Wyndham Bay reunions held over the last 25 years. Dad was a Los Angeles Deputy Reserve Sheriff for 20 years. In 1953 Milt and Sue moved to the yet-unheard-of town of Granada Hills where they started a family and were founding members of the North Valley Jewish Community Center, and long time members of Temple Ramat Zion (originally from Temple Har Zion). Milt was the top loan agent representing Cal Fed. He worked out at the gym 5 days a week for 30 years, and, up until 2 weeks ago, he was still driving himself there. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Suzanne (Goldman) Russikoff, his children Jon (Don Silverstein), Gail (David Friedman), Tadd (Rochelle Sperber), his grandchildren Jordana (Samuel Feinberg), Risa (Jeffrey Miller), Garrett, Mallory and Jerremy, his great grandchildren Sarah and Aliza Feinberg, his sisters Sheila (Russikoff) Gimbel and Bernice (Russikoff) Nicholson, his sister-in-law Phyllis (Sawyer) Russikoff, his brother-in-law Harold Goldman and sister-in-law Harriet (Heidecorn) Goldman. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. We will miss him very much. Services will be held Thursday, 13 July 2017, at 3:00 pm at Mt. Sinai SIMI VALLEY, 6150 Mt Sinai Dr, Simi Valley, CA 93063. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the , in memory of Milton Russikoff.
