October 8, 1928 - August 16, 2016 Died peacefully after a brief illness. Born in New York, New York, she attended Los Angeles High School and UCLA. Myra was a gourmet cook and interior designer, with her own color coordination business for several years. She was long active in service work for Helping Hand of Los Angeles, serving a term as President of the organization and later as a buyer for the Helping Hand Gift Shop at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. An avid world traveler with her husband, Dick, she enjoyed meeting the many people he connected with via his ham radio activities. Myra leaves her loving family - daughter Jeanie M. Forray, son Paul Mannheimer (Julia), three grandsons (Zack Forray (Lindsay), Charlie Forray, and Sam Mannheimer), two great-grandchildren (Lucy Forray and Noah Forray), numerous cousins, nieces, nephews - and many friends.
