Nadine Kearns Gotlib Obituary
August 19, 1928 - December 9, 2016 Nadine Kearns Gotlib, daughter of Dorothy James Tubor and William Tubor, lived a beautiful life of 88 years in LA, graduating from Fairfax High in 1946 and attending USC, where she met her first of six husbands, Robert Guterman, father of sons Barry and Alan Guterman. A California Golden Girl at the Democratic Nationall Convention in 1959, she opened Nadja, an exercise studio in Brentwood with Gilda Marx, followed by a monogrammed garment bag business on Melrose. The only female automobile fleet sales manager in Los Angeles in the '70s, she later sold residential real estate in LA and in La Costa. Her mother managed Amelia Gray, the first dress shop on Rodeo Drive. Following in her mother's designer shoes, Nadine was honored as a Top 10 Salesperson at Neiman Marcus nine years running. Clients included Bette Davis, Mrs. Ira Gershwin, Jesse Jackson, and Lee Iacocca. Nadine's sixth husband Dr. Milton Gotlib delivered her second son over 40 years before they married. They traveled and grew 20+ types of roses. Nadine received wonderful care at Sunrise of Santa Monica until she passed peacefully surrounded by family on Dec. 9, 2016. Nadine is survived by her sons Barry (Sheryl) and Alan; grandchildren Marisa Guterman, Travis Guterman, Sara (Ray) Moellering, and Sam Guterman; and great-grandchild Emma Moellering, all of whom loved and cherished her. Services Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, at 1:00 p.m., Beth Olam Cemetery, 6000 Santa Monica Blvd., Hollywood 90038.
