Nancy Ann Davis Obituary
March 24, 1947 - December 23, 2015 Nancy Ann Davis (Vis) died December 23 after a determined battle with breast cancer. She helped countless others with her insight, encouragement and advice in a cancer blog she wrote for the Huffington Post. Born and raised in Chicago, she went to Belding Elementary School and Schurz High School. After attending the Art Institute, she studied antiques and collectibles. She married high school sweetheart Paul Webster, and lived with him in Japan, while he was stationed there in the army. They divorced, but later remarried, living in Phoenix and Palm Springs in the 1990s. For a time she lived in Los Angeles, where she was as a fashion model, worked at E.F. Hutton, and eventually owned "Nancy's Fancies" antiques, in Venice, CA. After her husband's death she continued to live in the desert, supporting animal rescue, caring for her beloved cats, trading collectibles, and writing about breast cancer. She died in Phoenix, Arizona, where she recently moved for treatment. She was predeceased by her mother Shirley, sister Beverly (BJ), sister Janel, and husband Paul. She is survived by her father Robert (Bob), of Wheaton, IL, brother Robbie, of Los Angeles, CA, sister Elizabeth (Liz) of Barrington, IL, and brother Jeffry, of Wheaton, IL. Donations on her behalf can be made to PETA and La Rabida Chidren's Hospital.
