Obituary Condolences

November 29, 1929 - August 14, 2015 Natalie Grossman, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, educator and philanthropist, passed away Friday, August 14...coincidentally the 61st anniversary of her marriage to the love of her life, Aaron. Born in New York City, Natalie moved to Los Angeles with her parents and brother Marvin (who preceded her in death), and settled in Boyle Heights. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and attended USC. Always passionate about young people, Natalie spent 30 years as a special education instructor with the Los Angeles Unified School District where she was honored for her work. She was a championship bowler, pan player, avid tennis watcher, and rabid LA Dodger fan. Active in the community, she traveled the world as First Lady of the Al Malaikah Shrine while Aaron served as Potentate, and gave her time to the annual LA Kings Golf Tournament benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Natalie is survived by husband Aaron, children Marc (Shirley), Sheryl (Larry) and David, grandchildren Julie (who preceded her in death), Lauren, Erik, Danielle, Jason, Amy and Sydney (Ben). A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 16 at 1:00 p.m. at Eden Memorial Park, 11500 Sepulveda Blvd., Mission Hills, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Los Angeles chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 4929 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 760, Los Angeles, CA 90010; e-mail [email protected]
