Nicholas T. Magnano Obituary
September 10, 1926 - February 17, 2017 Nicholas Magnano passed away on February 17th . He was born on September 10th, 1926 in Middletown Connecticut. He moved to Pasadena California in 1945 and has been a resident ever since. Nick along with his Father and Brother Mike ran a very successful Bowling Distributorship for many years in Los Angeles and Pasadena until retiring in 1988. He served in the California National Guard from 1950-1952. He married his sweetheart Sylvia in 1950 and they were married for 66 years until her passing one year ago. Besides being a member of the Italian Catholic Federation he was a lifelong member of the Pasadena Elks Lodge 672 for the past 45 years. Very active member doing a lot of charity work for handicapped children always volunteering his time. He has been and was the current Secretary of the Elks Lodge the past 10 years. He was also a very avid Coin Collector. He is survived by his children Tom, Lou Ann, Jeannie, their spouses, several grandchildren and his brother Mike. Viewing will be at Cabot and Sons on Thursday 9-11 AM with Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
