Patricia Claire Radenbaugh Obituary
August 23, 1930 - April 28, 2016 Patricia Claire Radenbaugh, known by all as "Pat," died peacefully while surrounded by family in Woodland Hills, CA on April 28th, 2016, at the age of 85. Pat is survived by her loving husband, Richard "Dick" Radenbaugh, her six children (Steve Radenbaugh, Bruce Radenbaugh, Gail Yount, Holly Billings, Kelly Vandergeest, and Brook Radenbaugh), her 21 grandchildren, and her 9 great-grandchildren. Pat was born on August 23, 1930 in Vancouver, Canada to Claire and Garnett Brown. She attended John Marshall High School in Los Angeles, California. She married her high school sweetheart, Dick Radenbaugh on June 4, 1949. Shortly after, the first of their six children arrived. Pat then was the surrogate mother of many, many more. Pat's passion for life was infectious. She rarely missed an event and could be found cheering loudly on the sidelines of her children and her grandchildren's activities. Pat will be remembered as kind, adventurous, fun-loving, and fiercely loyal. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Pat was affectionately referred to as "Mrs. Rad", a tribute to her generosity and openness. There was nothing more important to her than family and friends. A Memorial and Reception will be held June 5, 2016 at 11:30am at Calamigos Ranch, 327 Latigo Canyon Rd., Malibu, CA 90265. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Pat's incredible life. Mostly, Mrs. Rad would be honored if you would simply do an act of kindness for another in her honor. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Patricia Radenbaugh Fund for Breast Cancer Research. Please make checks payable to "The UCLA Foundation," indicate the gift is in memory of Patricia Radenbaugh in the memo line, and send the check to UCLA Health Sciences Development, Attn: Katie Hollond, 10945 Le Conte Avenue, Ste 3132, Los Angeles, CA 90095.
