Mr. Brunner passed from this life April 6, 2006. Resident of Milwaukee Catholic Home, former longtime resident of Whitefish Bay. Beloved husband for 67 years of Margaret Brunner (nee Gallogly). Loving father of O. Robert (Susan)Brunner, Michael Brunner, and Dr. David (Andrea) Brunner. Proud grandfather of Kimberly and Jennifer Brunner, Kristin (Larry) Jeffs, Joshua (Julie) Brunner, Jason (Sheryl) and Casey (Heidi) Brunner and great-grand-father of nine. Dear brother of Kenneth (the late Mary) Brunner and of the late Frederick (Laverne) Brunner. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Mr. Brunner had retired from the Ladish Company in 1977 as the Secretary Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors. He was a past president of the Financial Executives International and the Whitefish Bay Men's Club. Mr. Brunner was also a member of Score and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He traveled extensively with Margaret to Africa, New Zealand, the Philippines, Australia, the Galapagos Islands, Scandinavia, and many other countries. They returned with many pictures, and gave frequent travel log presentations to numerous clubs and organizations. He will be deeply missed by his family and all whose lives he touched.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Milwaukee Catholic Home, St. Anne's Chapel, 2462 N. Prospect Avenue, followed by the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will be private for the family. Memorials in Mr. Brunner's name may be made to a charity of your choice.
