Paul Rogers Parrish Obituary
April 7, 1928 - December 27, 2015 Paul Rogers Parrish, Jr., peacefully passed away December 27 in Pasadena, CA. A resident of Burbank, CA and Lake Tahoe, NV, Paul was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to those he leaves behind. Born in Denver, CO to Martha and Paul R Parrish, Sr., Paul moved to Southern California in high school, and attended the University of Southern California via the G.I. Bill, after service in the U.S. Navy. He was active in the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. At USC, Paul met Carmen Perez, and they were married in 1953. Paul and Carmen raised their family of four children in Burbank, while Paul ran his longtime business, Supreme Roofing Company in Hollywood, CA. Many will remember Paul for his volunteerism to the Roofing Contractors Association, Kiwanis Club of Hollywood and Burbank, Rotary International of South Lake Tahoe and the USC Northern Nevada Alumni Club. His love of all things USC, and his deep passion for the outdoors - especially hunting and fishing, are his legacy. Above all, Paul will be remembered for his dedication to his family and friends and his ability to consistently be the life of the party. Paul is survived by his four children, Paige R. Parrish (Peggy), Pamela Penrose (Jim), Lori Parrish (Stephen Hobbs), Cammie Parrish Rago (Marco), seven grandchildren, Blake, Alexandra, Alana, Bridget, Andrew, Kelsey, and Aurora, and great granddaughter, Harper. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the El Dorado Community Foundation, Paul and Carmen Parrish Memorial Scholarship Fund, 312 Main St., Suite 201, Placerville, CA 95667 or to Ducks Unlimited, in memory of Paul Parrish, Verdugo Hills Chapter CA #199, 4529 Leata Ln., La Caada, CA 91101.
