Petar Radielovic Obituary

RADIELOVIC, Petar
Petar Radielovic died on January 23, 2005 in Los Angeles. He was born on March 21, 1929 in Breza, Bosnia and Herzegovina. A survivor of the Bleiburg massacre, he attended Zagreb University until he fled to freedom in 1954. Petar met his beloved Brigitta in Heidelberg and later emigrated to the United States in 1956, where they wed. Larger than life, Pero will be remembered by his wife, daughter, Mira, son, Marko, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and countless friends as a passionate, principled, and energetic man who touched the lives of many. A self-less husband and father, a loyal friend, patriot and defender of freedom, Pero will be missed greatly A funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony's Croatian Catholic Church on Friday, January 28 at 10:30, followed by luncheon at the parish center. A private burial will be held on Saturday, January 29. Arrangements by Pierce Brothers, Los Angeles (213) 749-4151.
