Reginald Damon Lee Obituary
June 14, 1929 - January 17, 2018 Reginald, a retired music and social studies teacher and longtime resident of greater Los Angeles, passed away peacefully in Woodland Hills last Wednesday after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Homewood (formerly Rosedale), Alabama, Reginald developed an early appreciation for nature and a lifelong love of music. Reginald was the fifth of eight children and the first to venture west to California. After four years of service in the United States Air Force during the early 1950s, he earned his bachelor's degree from and completed graduate coursework at California State University, Los Angeles. Reggie was a highly accomplished musician whose repertoire included mastery of the piano, saxophone, flute, and steel drums; he never met (or made) an instrument he didn't like. A world traveler and steadfast iconoclast, Reginald was a devoted husband and father. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, and is survived by his brother, Robert, and daughter, Mia.
