Robert Steinhauer Obituary
May 16, 1935 - December 15, 2005 Robert passed away in his sleep Thursday morning. He's loved and survived by his six children and ten grandchildren, sister, niece, and nephew. After graduating with a B.S. in Chemistry from USC, he enjoyed a career as a Chief Scientist at Hughes Space & Communications pursuing a field in Multidisciplinary Systems Engineering. Robert also enjoyed his lifelong affections; photography, hiking, and touring national parks with his wife of 40 years, Mary Ann. His favorite sports included swimming and tennis. A memorial service will be offered Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Green Hills Mortuary, and he'll be laid to rest with his wife following the service. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00-6:00 p.m. at: Green Hills Mortuary (310) 831-0311
