Robert C. Sinner Obituary
Robert C. Sinner passed away June 12, 2017 after a brief illness. Bob was born December 6,1917 to Pauline and John Sinner in Portland, Oregon. Bob was married for 70 years to the love of his life, Grace who passed away in 2016. He is survived by his son, John (Eileen) and daughter Margie Romano (Tom); 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Bob served proudly as a Marine in World War II. While on leave, he went to a dance at the USO Club where he met his future wife, Grace. Together they started out in Los Angeles eventually moving to Arcadia where they resided for over 50 years. Bob initially worked in the automobile business but changed careers and went into the insurance industry. He retired after 28 years as a successful State Farm Agent. Bob had many hobbies but traveling with Grace extensively throughout the United States and Europe was his favorite. They loved to share their memories and pictures with the entire family. Bob's infectious smile and personality will be deeply missed. Services will be 10 am, June 22nd at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Arcadia. A private Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bob's name to St. John of God, 2468 So. St. Andrews Place, Los Angeles 90018 or the Carmelite Sisters, 920 E. Alhambra Road, Alhambra 91801. Cabot & Sons, Pasadena.
