February 22, 1935 - May 25, 2016 Born in Jenkintown, PA, raised in Brooklyn, NY Roberta attended High School of Music & Art as a singer and graduated at UCLA class of '57, studying Opera under Jan Popper and acting in plays and musicals. She wore rose colored glasses, seeing the world full of possibilities. Her witty humor, love of the arts and go-get-it attitude blossomed her into a very accomplished woman of music and film. Roberta was an opera singer, choral singer as one of the original members of Grammy-Award-Winner "The Gregg Smith Singers", SAG Actress, Script Supervisor, Technical Coordinator and Director. She was the top script supervisor. Her gifts and skills were well known and she was a joy to work with. Just ask Alan Ada! Resume includes, M*A*S*H, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Dukes of Hazard, The Nutty Professor, Designing Women and more. She was promoted on Designing Women to Director. She was survived by her daughter Maryann Blackhart, her grandchildren and siblings Joseph Sherry and Dr. Nancy Devlin, PHD. We all miss you.
