Rosalind Kurzius Obituary
August 24, 1919 - March 25, 2016 Rosalind Kurzius passed away peacefully in her sleep knowing her family loved her. Aged 96 she lived a wonderful and very full, meaningful and long life. She was the matriarch of our family. Sunday mornings will never be the same. She was a wife married to Abe, mother to Barbara Singer (Howard), Stephen Kahn and Mark Kurzius (Robin). She was the beloved grandmother to Tracey (Margaret), Greg (Dana), Amy (Adam) and Melissa (Craig). She was the most beloved great-grandmother to Max and Emma. She was born to Charles and Rebecca Rosenthal in Brooklyn, N.Y., and married the love of her life, Abe in 1947, in NYC. Shortly thereafter she and Abe moved to the San Fernando Valley where they raised their family. Rosalind and Abe had a long and happy and loving life together. They traveled the world and after his death in 1998 she continued to live a full life sharing much joy and wisdom with her family who loved her and with her many friends. She loved her family and she never had a mean or unkind word to say about anyone. She was thoughtful, giving, humble, smart and always there to lend an ear or to provide sage and wise advice. Her positive attitude and bright outlook were only outdone by her indomitable will. She will never be forgotten by her family as she remains an inspiration to us all.
