Rose Agopian Obituary
November 22, 1922 - March 18, 2016 Rose Agopian, cherished wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on March 18, 2016 at her longtime home in Los Angeles, California surrounded by family. She was 93 years of age and a Los Angeles native. Rose was the beloved wife of John Agopian for 75 years. Her family was paramount. Her holiday celebrations were famous among family, friends and children. Her involvement with her children's school led to adventures as a substitute teacher. Rose later started her career with the Los Angeles City Recreation and Parks Department. She transferred to the City Department of Aging where she worked for over 15 years giving her much satisfaction and joy. Rose was a gourmet cook and baker, a skilled gardener, avid reader, and animal lover. Her talents, compassion, and kindness will be treasured by many. The Agopian family wishes to thank Drs. Michael Silao, Alan Jasper, Baldwin Marchack and Daniel Behroozan for exceptional care. Rose benefited from the kindness and compassion of caregivers Jackelin, Myrna and Veronica. Rose is survived by her children: James (Sonia), Michael (Paula), William and Lynda (Buddy); brother Robert, and grandchildren Andrew and Carly. Services were held on March 24, 2016 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills.
