icon September 20, 1926 - June 20, 2015 Rudy Bilcik passed away peacefully on June 20, 2015 at approximately 8:25am in Burbank, CA. He was born and raised in Yorkville, New York. In his youth Rudy was an avid competitive Gymnast winning a medal who he later gave to the "love of his life Irene." Was also a Youth Counselor at Sokol, New York. He served in the US Army and was deployed to Europe during World War II. He was awarded the Victory Medal, American Theater Service Medal, Army of Occupation Medal (Germany), European African Middle Eastern Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. Shortly after separating from the US Military at Fort Lewis Washington, with honors, on July 14, 1946, he travelled cross country by bus, to California where he made it his home. Thank you for your service and sacrifice in protecting our American freedom. Happy 4th. of July!
