December 12, 1925 - June 9, 2015 Born in Wilkes Barre, PA the seventh of nine children born to European immigrants who migrated to Los Angeles, California during his early childhood. Sam graduated from Roosevelt High School, an award winning gymnast and served honorably in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He returned home from his service to marry his high school sweetheart, Ethel, finish his education at UCLA and ultimately opened a CPA practice in Hollywood. He retired from a most successful financial management career, enjoyed many years of retirement before succumbing to Coronary Artery Disease and Parkinson's Disease at the age of 89. He leaves behind his beloved bride Ethel of 68 years, two children, Debby and Mitch (Julieanne), as well as three grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew and Claire. He made a significant impact on many lives and will be sorely missed.
