Brown, Stanley D. August 18, 1914-September 29, 2001
Stan Brown, loving father of Kathie Marion; adoring grandfather to Taylor Marion and beloved husband to Lorraine McCall, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 at Nazareth House Nursing Home. Stan Brown had a full and good life. He graduated from UCLA, class of '36, as a member of Phi Delta Theta. He was President of The General Council for Phi Delta Theta from 1966-1968. After graduating from UCLA, Stan entered the motion picture business as an actor and made over 120 movies. He then entered the advertising business after serving with the USO in WWII where he met his wife of 48 years, Ruth F. Brown. Stan lived in Los Angeles until the early 1970's when he and Ruth moved to Reno, Nevada where he went to work for Lear Aviation. After Ruth passed away, Stan married his second wife, Lorraine McCall on July 5th, 1997. In 1998, Stan and Lorraine moved back to Southern California where he could be close to his family. Lorraine now resides in Canada. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 3rd at 9:30 a.m. at Nazareth House in West Los Angeles.
