February 10, 1927 - November 19, 2015 Stanley L. Goodman, at his home in Rancho Mirage, California. Stanley was educated at Townsend Harris in New York City (1941), received a BA from New York University (1946) and an LLB from NYU school of law (1953). Stanley practiced as an attorney and CPA and developed an expertise in forensic accounting. Stanley achieved national prominence as the valuation expert in the landmark New York case of O'Brien v. O'Brien, where he testified as to the intrinsic value of a medical license under the state's newly enacted equitable distribution law. Stanley went on to become one of an elite group of valuation experts, and lectured extensively to bar groups and judicial conferences. Stanley is survived by his wife, Melinda Raphael. With his late wife, Eileen Goodman, he has two daughters; MJ Wolff (Richard) and Lois Richards (Marc), and four grandchildren; Brett Richards, William Wolff (Katie), Sarah Wolff and Max Richards and a great grandson Parker Jake Wolff. Additionally, he is survived by Melinda's daughters; Meg Marion (Michael), Marcy Goldenberg and grandson Jonah Marion.
