Stephen W. TROEGER Obituary
August 14, 1931 - August 8, 2015 Stephen Troeger inherited his fascination of architecture from his father, Phillip, and his love of classical music from his mother, Harriet. His passion for sailing was shared by his dad, as well as, his brother, John. Steve grew up in Michigan and attended Michigan State as an economics major and art minor. He served his country during the Korean War. When Steve relocated in California, he worked for Pittsburgh Plate and Glass Company as an architectural liaison between the glass company and architects. Best remembered as a kind and loving husband and father, Steve's legacy consists of honor, good humor and bravery. Steve is survived by his wife, Sherry; daughter, Lisa; son-in-law, Steve Kraler; granddaughters, Elsa and Linnea; and nephew, Steve Troeger. Steve and Sherry promised each other everlasting love. In Steve's words, "that, my darling is a given." In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation in honor of Steve to a charity that is close to your own heart.
