Sylvester A. "Bud" Pascale Obituary
March 4, 1931 - April 9, 2016 Sylvester Anthony "Bud" Pascale went to God and other loved ones at approximately 12:35 pm on Saturday, April 9, 2016. He was in his 86th year. At his bedside were family, friends, and several singing Carmelite nuns from Santa Teresita Manor. Bud was born in Peekskill, New York, on March 4, 1931, to Frank Pascale and Mary Rinaldi and into a large immigrant Italian family. His parents relocated to Los Angeles in 1946 where he graduated from St. Monica's High School and, in 1954, Loyola University. After serving in the United States Air Force, Bud married Nancy Sciacqua, the love of his life, in 1958. They settled in Los Angeles and raised four sons. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Pauline Pascale Wright, and his wife Nancy, who preceded him to heaven more than 17 years ago. He is survived by his four sons: P.J. (Sheilah), Chris (Liz), Damien (Maureen), and Matt (Patti); he is also survived by his two brothers, Frank Jr. and David; 10 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and countless Godchildren. He rests in peace, comforted by many loved ones who went on before and in the loving embrace of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Funeral Mass will be held on April 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Brendan's Catholic Church, 310 South Van Ness Avenue, Los Angeles, Ca. 90004. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bud's name to Santa Teresita/Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles, Attn: Development Office 819 Buena Vista Street, Duarte, CA 91010, (626) 359-3243, www.santa-teresita.org.
